Watch as Megan works with a real-life couple styled for a high-end engagement session.
Megan will walk participants through the shoot, step-by-step, decision-by-decision explaining how to approach a shoot as taught in the classroom. The shoot will highlight the Rules of Light Quality, camera settings, and posing techniques learned in their corresponding classes at Lancaster Photography School. Though we encourage you to have taken at least one of these classes before attending a demo shoot, it is not required.
This, my friends, is the icing on the cake. We highly encourage you to attend a demonstration shoot or two to complete your classroom learning experience!
We encourage you to buy your tickets right away before we close the doors to protect the exclusive learning experience at each event.
Don’t forget to bring your camera! You will watch & learn…then shoot throughout the experience!
If you have attended or heard of a “styled shoot” before, this is similar in that you will have an opportunity to shoot and use the photos for your portfolio but different in that everyone will stay together and there will be a good amount of teaching involved as well so that you can actually replicate the images taken for your own clients. EVERYONE will be given an opportunity to shoot. You will not need to claw your way to the front to get a great shot.
Photography School events are information-packed, in person classes, coaching and networking opportunities held on location and at Downtown Lancaster’s trendy The Candy Factory building and media studio.
Photography School classes are welcoming, small group events taught by local industry leaders that will take you step-by-step, class-by-class from being on the outside looking in on the flashy life of wedding and portrait photographers to a welcomed member of the wedding industry and portrait photography world.
