FREE TALK: LGBTQ+ Inclusion in the Wedding Industry

Join in the conversation between Brittaney DeArmond of Adelynn Claire Photography and Megan Hoffer, founder of Lancaster Photography School as they discuss how to be more inclusive to LGBTQ+ couples as they search for and work with wedding photographers.

After Brittaney and her wife, Katherine, struggled through the process of finding a wedding photographer to capture their big day, they decided to stop wishing the system would change, and be the change by opening their own photography business.

Megan, dedicated to the notion of "when you know better, you do better" aims to learn from this talk as much as anyone else. She will be asking the hard questions needed to "do better" herself to be welcoming to all humans as they celebrate their love.

Can't make it live? That's okay! Grab a ticket anyway and we will email the replay directly to you afterwards.

Photography School events are information-packed, in person AND virtual classes, coaching and networking opportunities held at Downtown Lancaster’s trendy The Candy Factory building and media studio.

Photography School classes are welcoming, small group events taught by local industry leaders that will take you step-by-step, class-by-class from being on the outside looking in on the flashy life of wedding and portrait photographers to a welcomed member of the wedding industry and portrait photography world.
