So, you took a class from Lancaster Photography School but need some real world practice? We've got you!
Take all the classroom learning and put it into practice in this interactive, fun experience....and, walk away with some stunning images for your portfolio while you’re at it!
Your instructor will demonstrate and give feedback and encouragement but this experience is primarily time for YOU to practice with real clients in a safe environment with friends where it’s OKAY to make a mistake or ask a question, if you have one.
The number of clients provided to practice on will depend on the number of photographers signed up to join in the fun. More photographers = more variety....so encourage your photographer friends to get a ticket too!
Clients will be a random mix of families, couples and seniors with a focus on families for the functionality of using just the parents for couple's shots and just the kids for that practice. Clients will be provided a style guide and encouraged to "dress their best."
If you have attended or heard of a “styled shoot” before, this is similar in that you will have an opportunity to shoot and use the photos for your portfolio but different in that you will be shooting REAL people who have signed up and paid to be photographed by students of Lancaster Photography School and are hoping to put your photos on their walls….so there’s some pressure to do your best!
The other difference is that there will be a good amount of support and teaching involved based on the classes provided by Lancaster Photography School.
It is expected that you will have taken and plan to practice the skills learned in at least ONE of the following classes at Lancaster Photography School to join in:

EVERYONE will be given an opportunity to shoot. We are a friendly, supportive group of people. You will not need to claw your way to the front to get a great shot.
This, my friends, is the icing on the cake. We highly encourage you to regularly attend practice shoots to complete your learning experience!
* Location is completely outdoors in natural light and will be held LIGHT rain or shine. In the event of heavy rain, the shoot will be canceled. You will be notified of any changes via the email address provided when you purchase your ticket.
